1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyUniversityNotes ("Platform"), operated by MUN Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes where appropriate.

2. Definitions

'Platform' means the MyUniversityNotes website at myuniversitynotes.com and any associated services.

'Seller' means any user who uploads content to the Platform.

'Buyer' means any user who purchases access to content.

'Notes / Content' means study materials, PDFs, documents or other files uploaded by Sellers.

'MUN Group Ltd' means the company registered in England and Wales operating the Platform.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are suspected of fraudulent activity.

Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

4. Seller Terms

4.1 Ownership & Warranties

By uploading content, you confirm that:

  • You are the original author of the content; and
  • You have full rights to grant the licence described below; and
  • Your content does not infringe copyright, academic policies, or any third-party rights.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload.

4.2 Licence Grant

You grant MUN Group Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to host, store, display, distribute, reproduce, and sell access to your uploaded content. This licence permits MUN Group Ltd to format, edit, adapt, summarise, combine, extract, or reorganise content. MUN Group Ltd may create derivative versions. This licence continues even if you delete your account. You retain ownership of your original content and are free to use or sell it elsewhere.

4.3 Earnings & Payments

  • Pricing tiers and seller earnings percentages are determined by MUN Group Ltd.
  • All uploaded content is subject to review before publication. MUN Group Ltd reserves the right to reject, remove, or modify any content at its sole discretion.
  • Earnings become payable only after the applicable hold period has passed.
  • We reserve the right to withhold earnings where fraud, disputes, or policy violations are suspected.
  • Sellers are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes on earnings.

5. Buyer Terms

5.1 Licence to Use Content

When you purchase access to Notes, you are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for personal study use only.

You may not:

  • Share, distribute, upload, or resell the content.
  • Make content publicly available.
  • Use content for commercial purposes.

Any breach may result in account suspension.

5.2 Refunds

All purchases are for digital content. As such, refunds are generally not provided once access has been granted, except where required by law.

We reserve the right to investigate and decline refund requests in cases of suspected misuse or fraud.

6. Content Review & Removal

All uploaded content may be reviewed prior to publication.

We reserve the right to reject, remove, suspend, or disable access to content at our discretion, including in response to copyright complaints, legal claims, or policy violations.

7. Intellectual Property & Takedown

If you believe content infringes your rights, you may contact us to request review and removal.

Sellers agree to indemnify and hold harmless MUN Group Ltd against any claims, losses, or damages arising from content they upload.

8. Disclaimer

All notes are student-written materials and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any university or educational institution.

Content is provided "as is" for supplementary study purposes only.

MUN Group Ltd makes no guarantees regarding academic performance, accuracy, or completeness of content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • MUN Group Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to the Platform in the 12 months preceding any claim.
  • We are not responsible for academic outcomes resulting from use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded under law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Access to purchased content may be revoked.
  • Earnings may be withheld pending investigation.
  • Content may be removed from the Platform.

11. Privacy

Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
